Director
Rabbi Becker founded the Long Island Torah Network in 2012 out of a passion and a desire to sharethe beauty of our Jewish heritage. Rabbi Becker found his earliest inspiration growing up in Tucson, Arizona, where his father has served as Rabbi of a diverse congregation for decades. Seeing his parents’ selfless dedication to all members of the Tucson Jewish community, regardless of background or level of observance, gave Rabbi Becker his first introduction to the joy of teaching Torah. Rabbi Becker studied at schools in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Jerusalem, culminating in Rabbinic Ordination from the Rabbinical Seminary of America in Queens, NY. Rabbi Becker’s introduction to Long Island began as a High Holidays cantor in Smithtown and, more recently, for the Young Israel of East Northport. Rabbi Becker combines a dynamic teaching style and a talent for public speaking with warmth, sensitivity and understanding of the individual. Rabbi Becker and his wife, Chumie, reside in Huntington. Mrs. Becker works as a speech language pathologist for the NYC Department of Education.

A native of Brooklyn, NY, Rabbi Grossman attended the Rabbinical Seminary of America - Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim of Queens from 1995 - 2011. In 2005, Rabbi Grossman married Elisheva Gottesman, also of Brooklyn; the couple settled near the Yeshiva in Kew Gardens Hills. Rabbi Grossman observes: "My teachers impressed upon me that Torah study is the key to unlocking our potential in every area. Yeshiva afforded me the opportunity to develop my personality in a many different ways." It also broadened his horizons: "As a student in the Yeshiva network, I had the chance to study and teach in cities from San Diego to Fort Worth to Miami. The hands-on experience reinforced the message I learned from my teachers: Torah enables you to connect to any Jew, anywhere."In July 2015, the Grossman family moved to Huntington, Long Island, where Rabbi Grossman continues to pursue his mission of bringing the joy of in-depth Torah study to the broader Jewish community.

We're always looking for passionate educators and volunteers to help us share Torah with the Long Island community.
